This beautiful 5x5 point Whitetail buck is mounted on a variety of walnut tree.
Hanging Bones:
Lower Left and top bones are foot bones from a young buck.
Ansuz: This is a rune of communication, a symbol of spirit and knowledge. Often used to represent Odin.
Eihwaz: This is a rune representing the Yew tree. A symbol of wisdom, strength, and freedom from fear.
The last bone is a small rib from the same young buck as the foot bones. Various other runes have been carved into this bone.
The stave on the forehead is called the Helm of Awe. Its history is intertwined with Norse mythology and the belief that it granted immense power to the wearer, enabling them to inspire fear in enemies and protect themselves from harm, both physically and spiritually. There are also mentions of it in Icelandic history.
